Virginia Radio Controlled Helicopter Association is more than a helicopter club, we are a group of friends dedicated to the growth of model helicopter hobby. We stress a friendly environment that focuses on fun, learning and respect.
VARCHA was founded to provide the growing R/C helicopter hobby a dedicated helicopter field where like-minded individuals can learn and share information on our helicopters.
Membership Requirements
In order to become a member of VARCHA, each individual must be a member for the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
If you meet the above requirements and would like to join please complete and submit a membership application, along with your dues and initiation fee.
2013 Dues
Open Member: $65.00
Youth (17 and under): $25.00
New member initiation fee: $50.00
Come down and fly
We generally fly most weekends and somtimes even during the week. So if you are curious to meet the group or just check out our field, current AMA members are welcome as guests. So grab your heli, your radio and meet us at the field.
