VARCHA Spring Contest - May 30

Virginia R/C Helicopter Association is proud to host its second annual AMA Helicopter contest on Sunday, May 30^th 2010 at the VARCHA field on Luck Stone Rd. in Bealeton, VA. This will be a non-sanctioned contest for AMA events 431 (Class I), 432 (Class II), and 433 (Class III). The contest will be run in accordance with AMA Regulations governing RC Helicopter Competition as published in the 2009-2010 AMA Competition Regulations.

Flybarless (Unlimited) helicopters can be entered in any class, but scores will be excluded from the official event standings due to the provisional status of Unlimited with the AMA. This is a great opportunity for flybarless pilots to participate in an AMA helicopter contest. Contestant judging will be used as necessary.

Lunch and beverages will be provided for FREE to all registered pilots and contest support personnel. Please pre-register via email so that we can plan accordingly.

Awards will be presented to the top three (3) pilots in Class I, II, and III.

Registration Fee: FREE

Below is a preliminary contest schedule based on estimated participation and three (3) rounds flown. The schedule and/or number of rounds flown may be revised due to actual pilot registration.

12:30-1:30 Lunch
5:30 Contest ends
6:00 Awards
